Course Introduction
WeCSI (English Exit Test) is a web-based instructional tool meant to assist the English Exit Test (EET) takers. This course aims to develop students’ speaking skills relevant for workplace communication. Students are trained to speak up and respond to related tasks that are similar to the English Exit Test Speaking Component. Students are also exposed to the relevant critical thinking skills aligned to the test. At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Respond to questions effectively in a stimulus response question
- Respond to questions effectively in a job interview
- Respond to questions effectively in an oral presentation
If you look at the top of this page, you may see the WATCH, DISCUSS, SPEAK & ENRICHMENT labels. Do click on each one and explore them. For example, after viewing the video clips in the WATCH section, you can proceed to the DISCUSS section and start sharing your views and comments, or even pose questions that we can discuss together. Next, is SPEAK where you'll get to practise with some speaking tasks. Finally, the ENRICHMENT section will provide you with the necessary help that will enable you to perform/speak more efficiently.
